The year 2009 has not seen too many Top XBox 360 games, which leads us to believe the quote ‘calm before storm’ would come true. 2010 has already had an excellent array of spellbinding games that have not failed to quench the gaming frenzy of ardent gamers. There are a lot of websites claiming to give you the top 10 XBox 360 games for 2010, but you can be sure that there are more than 10 top XBox games for 2010 which deserve a try!

It was indeed difficult to get myself away from the console each time I sat down to try out a new game. I had to force myself to come up with a list, to help people like you who are looking for the top 10 XBox 360 games of 2010.

Allen Wake:

Allan Wake was undoubtedly the top selling game of the year. This much anticipated horror-mystery-adventure XBox 360 game was released on May 18th. The storyline takes you through the life of a fiction writer by the name of Allan Wake, who wakes up to find his wife missing. In his efforts to get her back, the gamer is taken through a journey of skirmishes and puzzle solving, defeating the forces of darkness!

The Crack Down:

A third person shooter game that demands to be in any top 10 XBox 360 game list is the Crackdown 2 from Ruffian games. Being the second edition of this series, this XBox 360 game follows the story of a security organization by the name agency, trying to oust the detractor of pacific city. The game is set to be released on July 6th and is a must have if you love free fall and leaping off tall buildings!!

Dead Rising 2:

Slated for release on August 31st, ‘Dead rising 2’ offers lots of horror and action for the zombie enthusiasts. As the game unfolds, a former motocross champion comes out to try his luck in the ‘terror is reality’ game show which is being conducted in the city of Vegas. The deathly game involves the terrors of Azkaban as the hero wades of zombies to stay alive!

Just Cause 2:

In the long list of sequels that are lining up to occupy the top 10 XBox 360 game list, comes Just Cause 2. With its mind boggling collection of stunts ranging from sky diving to car surfing, there is everything for you, if you love adventure games. This game was released on March 23rd 2010 and is sure to be a smash hit!

Fable III:

Expected to be released in the final quarter of 2010, Fable III follows up the story of Fable II. Set 50 years after the conclusion of the previous installment, this fabulous XBox 360 game takes one through the life of a king who tries to overthrow a tyrant ruler. Several strategic decisions are left to be made and some of them include choosing between corruption and forthrightness, giving you an absolute essence of a kingly life!

Mass Effect II:

Mass Effect II released on January 29th involves recruiting a team to investigate globally occurring disappearances of human beings from the galaxy.

Madden NFL 11:

Madden NFL 11 gives you the best authentic football experience ever. Adorning the vest of a quarterback you can experience the exhilaration of a touch down to the fullest. This XBox 360 game will be released on August 10th 2010.

Final Fantasy XIII:

Final Fantasy XIII marks an achievement on the part of Microsoft who has managed to pull the game lovers from PS3 to XBox 360. Released on March 8th, this game offers the gamers with a relatively straight forward and revolutionary but a nonetheless exciting narrative.

Bayonetta:

Unsurpassed in its inventive design and levels coupled with its stunning visuals, Bayonetta is right up there for me in the top 10 XBox 360 games. This picturesque action game remains among the top two games, despite the best efforts by competitors to topple it.

Red Dead Redemption:

A game that deserves to be at the top for the painstaking efforts of the development team is Red Dead Redemption. With an unnerving presentation of flawless storyline, unmatched in attention to detail, this action game presents western gunplay in its most authentic self! The game was released on May 18th!
