XBox Guitar Hero Bundles
To be a rock star is one of
those dreams people have akin to being a superhero and saving the day,
gaining the adoration of the public. While rock stars actually exist,
the prospect of being successful in that career path is out of reach for
most people. That's where Guitar Hero comes in. This iconic game
series, called simply "the Hero series" by it's fans, has had incredible
success in letting people live out their fantasies of stardom as they
play the notes and make the crowds go wild. The revolutionary new style
of controller and game play interaction was first thought up in 2005 by
the company RedOctane. The guitar shaped controller was inspired by the
one used by Konami's GuitarFreaks arcade game. After a million dollars
in the making, the current game design was finalized, involving pressing
buttons on the guitar shaped controller in time to musical and visual
cues. If players do well, they please the virtual audience and gain
points. Players may choose from a selection of popular songs from
different genres and ages, and may play in single player and multiplayer
modes. They may now even form bands including a vocalist and a drummer.
